From day one you will be responsible for testing the next version of Hotmail Mobile across a suite of the most advanced mobile devices. We are seeking a proven contributor with a great track record of delivering complex software releases on time and with a very high quality bar.

You'll be helping to build applications and services for millions of users worldwide. We follow agile methodologies and stay abreast of all technology trends. And we release frequently, so you'll quickly see the impact of your work.

This position is based in Microsoft's European Development Center in Dublin, Ireland, and works closely with Microsoft teams in the US and Japan.

Core requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant product development and testing experience
• At least 3 years of experience in an ASP.NET environment
• Experience with writing test plans and maintaining test collateral
• Must be capable of working independently and cooperatively in a dynamic environment
• Energy and desire to deliver high-quality software on aggressive schedules
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills

Other experience that would be a plus for this position:

• Understanding of large scale web application development using ASP.NET MVC, AJAX, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working on debugging software in an ASP.NET 3.5 runtime environment
• Experience with Windows scripting and/or Batch scripts
• Experience testing mobile web applications
• A university computer science degree or equivalent
