Born to code? We’re Microsoft’s European Development team for Azure. We’re hiring top engineering talent to work in Dublin, Ireland from across Europe.

Our state-of-the-art €42M office building features large offices and spacious common areas. Microsoft is consistently recognized as a top employer in Ireland, Europe, and worldwide. Our light-filled cafeteria is open for breakfast and lunch, with a diverse selection of food. We take our work – and our play – seriously. Remember, no spinning allowed at the foosball table! Our big sunlit atrium illuminates the cafeteria and Starbucks coffee lounge. Everybody gets individual offices, to express their individuality. Our building required the excavation of 22,000 cubic meters of granite rock. The “emerald isle” never fails to provide a bit of greenery. Microsoft has several buildings in Dublin, which include 3 cafeterias, 2 on-site gyms, and a company store. To unwind, sometimes we “test” games from our co-workers in the Xbox group. Our building is close to tram and bus lines and features a 322-space car park.

Meet the Team

Our core strength is our people! At Microsoft we have diverse backgrounds, hailing from all over Europe and the rest of the world. We’re fluent in a lot of languages: C#, C++, ASP.NET, SVG, JavaScript, AJAX, Silverlight, SQL and more.

We speak multiple languages and enjoy exchanging cultural wisdom, celebrating events and learning about the world from each other.

We like to have fun and you can daily find a game of foosball to inspire your creativity. We enjoy team events such as movie nights and kicking back on occasional Friday afternoons. There are a lot of spontaneous get-togethers outside the office for seasonal festivals and shows.

We are agile enthusiasts and use scrum to manage our work as our code is used by real people to run their businesses every day.
